Today in our Film and TV lesson we looked at the table scene from the film 'The Devil wears Prada" and started to identify the different shot sizes that were shown in each scene of the film. We were then put into a group to recreate the scene. We then started to film the scenes with the different shot sizes such as the Long distance shot, Extreme close up and the full shot from head-toe along with some of the acting and production equipment.

We looked at different scenes from Hex, 1917, and Romeo and Juliet and started to pick out what we liked the most about the different scenes, for example the settings, casting and costumes and also the dislikes about them. We then wrote down which one was our favourite and what we liked most about the one we chose. For example 1917 which showed the reality of the war and showed the audience what it was like for the soldiers back then. But also a dislike about some of the films such as Rome and Juliet is that it doesn't have the correct setting and is shown more as what it would be like in this day and age.
We also looked at some more of the National Theatre performances on their websites and also wrote down what we liked about the different plays and what we think could of could of been improved better in the performances.

We did a reflection with our tutor tom where we looked at back at what we have done in our course over the last few months. E.g The showcase, The girl without hands and the Beatles performance. We then started to choose what was our best one, so for example my best one was the "Girl without hands" because it was my first time performing in front of an audience and helped me gain more confidence, along with things that we thought that we could of improved or what we could of done better at.
