This week I have learned the some more of the movements to Matilda the musicals ‘Revolting children’ and we are also trying to do the movements and singing to it as well.Before we dance or sing, we make sure to do warm ups so that we warm up our voice. Its important because it helps you to get physically prepared and also preventing injury. Similarly vocal warm ups also help you to sing and prevent injuries as well. In relation to choreography, we were looking at stage placement. Stage positioning which is also referred to as stage blocking is the process of placing performers in a specific space. It is important that people don't bump into each other and that the audience can see whats happening. I also started to look at blocking in my sketch with Oliver. We also looked at 3 different versions of Revolting children from Matilda the musical so that we can get inspiration and ideas for our own performance.
